Falling In Love CastleBeckett- By Cheyenne32

Author's Note: Castle/Beckett. 4 random fics that I came up with while listening to my IPod.

He Said, She Said- Ashley Tisdale:
Katherine Beckett grinned as her friend Lanie pulled her into a club near the police precinct where she worked. Maybe she did need this. It had been a tough case, a young girl murdered by an employee that her stepfather had hired to kill her. Lanie had been very persistent about them going to get drinks especially after Kate had lost her cool in the interrogation with the stepfather, and as Kate began to drink her first drink of the night, a strawberry Daiquiri, Kate felt thankful of her friend's stubborn personality.
"Thanks Lanie," Kate spoke after a while of silence between the two. Lanie smiled wickedly at her friend.
"Always listen to me, Katie. Sometimes I have some really good ideas." "Katie" was a nickname that she only allowed Lanie to use.
Kate was finishing up her drink when she caught his eye from across the room. She would recognize him anywhere; it was her favorite writer, the famous mystery writer Richard Castle. He winked at her and then turned away, and she just stared frozen as he began to talk to some random blond by his side. Wow, she thought as she turned back around beckoning the bartender to bring her another drink.
The rest of her night went smoothly and she received a few numbers of cute guys at the bar before Lanie said her goodbyes and left only when Kate promised that she would be careful and go home soon. About fifteen minutes later Kate got up and began to pay.
"Excuse me," the bartender began. "The man over there...Richard Castle, I think, already paid that for you." Kate nodded and the bartender left.
"Hello," Kate heard a man's voice behind.
"Hi. Thanks for the...you know." She said as she quickly realized who it was.
"Anything for such a pretty woman." He answered and she did a double take. Wasn't he married to like his editor or something, Kate wondered as she remembered seeing him and his wife on the news, and yet he is obviously hitting on me. She felt her like for this man quickly turn to dislike. A blond petite woman came up to his side and glared at her. Richard Castle excused himself for a second and went to talk to the woman. After a few minutes he returned.
"Sorry...soon to be ex-wife." She grinned and cocked her head to the side. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. "Oh well, I must go though it was a pleasure to mett you Mrs..."
"It's miss and I don't think you'll be getting a name Mr. Castle." Kate answered.
"Well, maybe you'll change her mind." Castle kissed her hand, winked, and walked away grinning.
The kiss shocked her so much it took her a minute to realize that she was holding a napkin in her hand, with his number on it.

Jump Then Fall- Taylor Swift:
Kate Beckett hid a small smile as she walked beside Richard Castle while walking to their next crime seen. He was carrying on about the same nonsense as usual. Kate would never tell anyone how much she enjoyed this: him and her. Not that she liked him like that or anything. She almost snorted at the lie. Of course she was crushing on him. She had been since the moment she met him, at that book release when she brought him in to the precinct for questioning.
That was it, she let out a tiny giggle as they reached the crime seen. Kate expected him to make fun of it and prepared herself, but he didn't. He just stared at her with this unreadable expression.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" Kate asked, self-conscious at the staring.
"No. No, that's not it. You just never fail to surprise me, Detective." Castle answered and they just stood there for a few minutes on the edge of the yellow tape staring at each other.
"Did we interrupt something?" Ryan asked as they reached the partners.
"Nope," Beckett answered before anyone said anything else asking about the murder. Kate snuck another glance at Castle. He was just grinning. Kate shook her head and they continued the day.
They argued, they disagreed, and they were often at odds. But Katerine Beckett couldn't have it any other way. She was slowly falling in love with him, and she knew it. Maybe one day she would actually share it with him. One day.

Love Drunk- Boys Like Girls:
Damn it. Rick threw the picture across the room. It was a picture of him and her, much like the others surrounding the room. It was when they were happy. Before Meredith had moved back into New York. How they hell had he managed to get their relationship this screwed up? Rick felt hot tears burn his eyes. He was about to cry, but he couldn't not let himself break down.
"Dad?" He heard Alexis' voice as she made her way down the stairs.
"Go back to bed, sweetie." Rick answered, but she ignored him.
"Dad, sit down." Alexis ordered and Rick listened. "Listen, you're miserable and she probably is to. I know you two are both so stubborn, but one of you has to apologize. Either that or this relationship of yours' is going to go down hill."
"We don't have a relationship anymore," Rick stated.
"Well you love each other, and Dad I've never seen you as happy as you were when you two were together. So I recommend that you go to her apartment and apologize, because she is probably going through this too." Rick slowly grinned as her words seeped in.
"How had I managed to have a daughter like you?"
"Luck, that's all I can say." She answered and he got up and made his way to the door.
"Nuh-uh." Alexis stopped him and she pointed to the broken glass on his floor. "Clean this up first." Rick nodded and began to get out the vaccum.
"Night, Dad."
Rick nodded and said goodnight. He finally finished cleaning up the glass and went to Detective beckett's apartment. He knocked and Kate opened the door.
"I'm sorry." He said simply.
"Me too." She said and once they were inside she pulled him into a hug.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He answered.
Rick knew that they were going to have problems in the future, but he also knew that they would make it through.

Twisted- Carrie Underwood:
Kate Beckett felt her breath catch as Richard Castle kissed her. it was a light, gentle kiss, and it felt like it was over just as soon as it began. Yet somehow it managed to steal her breath. She opened her eyes to reveal a smiling Castle.
"What the hell was that for Castle?" She asked, trying to sound stern, but she failed greatly.
"Mistletoe." Castle answered and pointed up to the ceiling. She knew that he had planted it there because they never had mistletoe decorating the precinct, but she didn't feel mad. She actually enjoyed the kiss. The feeling of his lips up against hers.
She smiled and made her way to her desk, obviously surprising the writer about not getting mad at the public display of affection. Beckett felt eyes on her as she did so. Castle chuckled and followed her.
"I love you." He said.
"Love you too, but if you do that again I will have to kill you. What part of "secret relationship" don't you understand? Do you know how many people are going to ask me what that was?" She asked burying herself in paperwork.
"You know you enjoyed it."
"Maybe I did, Rick. But that's not the point." Kate answered a grinning Rick. She shook her head. Maybe her sister was right. What the hell had she gotten herself into?
